Service Learning
I take great pride in being involved in my church’s service learning programs, where I play a humble yet meaningful role. As part of my dedication, I studied our church's curriculum to become both a Sunday school servant and a chaperone, allowing me to contribute to the spiritual growth and well-being of our community.
Outside of these responsibilities, I am passionate about Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, which I train in at least twice a day, 6–7 days a week. This discipline has taught me perseverance, mental toughness, and respect, all of which influence how I approach both personal and professional challenges. Additionally, I enjoy watching soccer, a sport that connects me to my roots and my love for teamwork.

P-246 Reflection
Spring 2025
This class taught me a lot about how to build effective workouts for both resistance and cardiorespiratory training. I learned how to put together full workout sessions that include warm-ups, cool-downs, and a main workout, all with the right rest times and modifications based on the client’s needs. One of the most helpful parts was learning how to adjust workouts depending on whether it’s more client-focused or coach-focused.

What really stood out was the chance to step into the role of the coach. Leading my own workout helped me see how important communication, planning, and confidence are when working with others. It made me more comfortable giving instructions and making sure exercises are done safely and correctly.

Another great part of this class was the chance to bond with classmates who also enjoy working out, staying in shape, and challenging each other to improve. It made the learning environment fun, supportive, and motivating. Overall, this class gave me the tools to design and lead well-rounded, personalized training sessions—and I had a great time doing it with like-minded people.
